Wetland Gardens
Let us turn your ugly wetlands into a beautiful garden. Based on your property, we will design
a master plan, get the necessary permits and approvals, plant a wetland garden, and if
requested, provide continual organic maintenance. Regrettably, we only work in Fairfield
County and nearby surrounds
Buffer Gardens
Protect the environment right in your own yard with a wetland buffer planting. Wetland buffers
are planting areas designed to protect adjacent bodies of water, brooks, lakes, ponds, vernal
pools and Long Island Sound. Buffers can also be planted to protect wells, reservoirs and
underground aquifers.
Buffer gardens collect rainwater runoff and any pollutants and excess fertilizer contained in
the runoff. Buffer gardens can be filed with flowering trees, shrubs and perennials and add
greatly to the aesthetic value of your property. These gardens can create a habitat and food
source for many native birds and animals. Deer resistant, low maintenance gardens can be
designed and planted with plants native to Connecticut. We install decorative buffer gardens
